Abby Gayle and Blizzard
R.I.P.

Abby Gayle "AKA: Abby" was a dark sable. She was very lovable and sweet. Her favorite thing to do was climb Gambler's shoulders and get on top of his head. She loved to be held. Abby was a wedding gift from a friend. She was only a kit (baby ferret) when we got her. We kept her for about 6 months alone. She was very lonely. So, we got Blizzard. She bit Twister the day we got her. She was Gambler's baby. Would tollerate being held by other people but would always keep eye contact with Gambler while she did. He spolied her rotten every chance he got. In return she loved him. In May of 2000 she got sick one night and had seizures all night. Gambler held her through every one. She finaly got to sleep but had a few more during the night. Every time, Gambler would put his hand on her so she would know he was there, it seemed to calm her. In the morning Gambler woke up and picked her up. She looked at him and drifted off. She will be dearly missed.

Blizzard "AKA: Blizzy" was about a year old when we got her. One of seven and the only girl, her parents knew that it would be the best thing to let her go. We drove all the way to the Georgia and South Carolina line to get her. She bit Twister the very first day and Twister wasn't too sure about it, but it worked out wonderfully. Blizzy was an albino. She loved to climb Gambler, but she was not so fond of being held. She liked to nip at everyone, but she could be lovable when she wanted to. In September of 2000 we had to put Blizzy to sleep because of a progressive adrenal gland failure.
